Located on the northwestern "shore" of Siesta Key, Bayou Louise is another of the many stunning communities which exist on this barrier island and it also just so happens to be located on the exclusive Siesta Drive route. This very tightly-knit community of just a few dozen homes is quite literally located just a stone's throw from the Gulf of Mexico so you have free access to that and with many homes in this area enjoying real ocean views you'll find the entire Bayou Louise area aesthetically pleasing in a number of ways.
Obviously because you're investing in a property located on Siesta Key land in the area isn't cheap so you can expect to pay between $600,000 to around $1,200,000 for a home in this area - the price obviously dictated by the amount of square footage you're getting. You also have the weather and sea protection offered by nearby Lido Key but the Key itself doesn't prove to be an eyesore because you're actually facing onto South Lido County Park instead of a row of condos.

If you want to get out for a meal or some entertainment you can enjoy everything that the rest of Siesta Key has to offer including Siesta Key Village which should cater for most of your dining and entertainment requirements. Obviously being on the Gulf of Mexico means there's also lots of boating, fishing and kayaking to enjoy and there are, of course, several golf courses just a short drive away too.
If you've always loved the idea of island living but don't want to necessarily audition for a part in the remake of "Castaway" then Bayou Louise offers you the kind of home that's very difficult to find outside of an island paradise.
