An annual fundraiser providing help for the Suncoast Foundation of Handicapped Children, the Suncoast BBQ & Bluegrass Bash is a great event. You will discover all types of fun at the event including a BBQ contest, Kids Park, cornhole and much more. Here's what you can enjoy at this great event.

Events and Contests

The festival includes multiple events and contest, such as:

  • Sporting Clays
  • Dessert Bake-Off
  • Chili Cook-off
  • Cornhole Tournament

You can compete or just enjoy samples of the food in each of the contests. The event will also include a Bargain Barn, Community Corner and an Outdoor Living area full of great exhibits.

The Pirates are Coming for Spring Training!

Get ready Bradenton. The Pittsburgh Pirates are coming for Spring Training and you won’t want to miss it. This Major League Baseball team is playing their psring training games at McKechnie Field, what field that USA Today calls “the definition of ballpark intimacy” and the “Fenway of spring parks.” When you visit the park, you’ll have access to concessions, gift shops, vending machines and group discounts. The Pirates are Pittsburgh’s MLB team that competes in the Central Division of the National League. They are typically found playing in their home stadium of PNC Park, the former Forbes Field.
